Position Summary:


The Waterjet Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by precisely operating waterjet cutting machinery to shape and fabricate materials according to detailed specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail to ensure that all cuts meet quality standards and customer requirements, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency. The operator will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to interpret technical drawings and optimize cutting paths. Maintaining the equipment in excellent working condition through routine inspections and troubleshooting is essential to prevent downtime. Ultimately, the Waterjet Operator contributes to the production of high-quality components that support the overall success and reputation of the manufacturing facility.

The Waterjet Operator utilizes technical skills daily to interpret complex blueprints and translate them into precise machine operations, ensuring each cut meets exact specifications.   • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of waterjet equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and engineers to optimize cutting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, material usage, and machine maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies during machine operation.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.), stand and walk for extended periods.

Physical Requirements:

The employee is regularly required to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Lift up to 75 pounds, occasionally maneuver through pushing or pulling greater than 75 pounds. Education and Experience:
