MULTI-AXIS CNC SET-UP MACHINIST 

Elite E/M is seeking a skilled, hard-working and highly motivated Vertical CNC Set Up Machinist.

Job Description

The CNC Machinist is responsible for set up and operation of a variety of machine tools to produce precision machined parts

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vertical CNC machines
  •  
  • Proficient in set-up and operation for Vertical machines 
  •  
  • Have the ability to independently complete projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  •  
  • Familiarity with Cell-Systems and GD&T
  •  
  • Possess strong written and communication skills
  •  
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work on complex assignments and producing high precision machined parts
  •  
  • Must be able to setup, operate and make tool adjustments 
  •  
  • Can load different tooling and identify correct tools
  •  
  • Must be able to inspect own parts using basic measuring tools
  •  
  • Keep machine tools in clean and working order
  •  
  • Work independently in a team environment
  •  
  • Take pride in workmanship and possess a positive team-oriented attitude
