Job Summary:

A Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician will possess the requisite skills, knowledge and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery as well as general building requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs including but not limited to: PLC, relay logic, mechanical, hydraulic, and compressed air systems
  • Write up work order requests, (either physically or through mobile software), and research through various sources/vendors which parts to order.
  • Works with other maintenance team members on various open projects
  • Maintain logs and Preventative Maintenance Schedules for various machining/press centers.
  • Adheres to proper safety procedures and regulations.
  • Other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of industrial woodworking equipment including CNC based routers, drills, saws, banders, presses, and other woodworking equipment
  • Significant experience in general facilities maintenance including electrical (high and low voltage and three phase); plumbing systems, boilers and HVAC systems, and general structural repair and maintenance.
  • Welding experience a plus
  • Electrical wiring/experience desired
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Administrative and organizational experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures for machine operation, preventative maintenance, tool management, and quality control a plus.
  • Ability to utilize manual and electronic measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measurers, etc.).
  • Possess basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work overtime hours as needed.
  • Able to withstand standing for long periods of time. Frequent turning and reaching required.
  • Able to lift in excess of 25 lbs.
