WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor multi-axis laser machines used for cutting, drilling, marking, or trimming sheet metal components and finished goods
  • Read and interpret engineering sketches, job routers, and process control sheets to ensure accurate part processing
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, CMM reports, and visual inspection
  • Adjust machine parameters, align optics, load programs, and verify proper beam quality
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on lasers, motion systems, and fixturing
  • Maintain accurate production records and follow strict aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP)
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to solve problems and support continuous improvement
  • Follow all laser safety and general manufacturing safety procedures
  • Maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and preventative maintenance
  • Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products that you're proud to put your name on

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience with laser systems (Fiber, Yag, CO2) or a CNC background with a willingness to learn (on-the-job training provided)
  • Comfort working with CNC-type interfaces, G-code, or automated motion platforms
  • Ability to interpret sketches, follow work instructions, and meet tight tolerances
  • Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a safety-first mindset
