Job description

Signs and Lines By Stretch is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Time Fabricator to join our Signs & Lines production team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and preparation of road signs, pavement markings, and other traffic-related signage materials. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring quality and timely delivery for our clients, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency during off-peak hours.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble signs according to work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare and cut materials such as aluminum, vinyl, reflective sheeting, and thermoplastic.
  • Operate machinery including plotters, laminators, CNC routers, and screen printers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly used and stored.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure signs meet regulatory standards (e.g., MUTCD, DOT).
  • Package and label completed items for shipment or installation.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures, including use of PPE and proper handling of hazardous materials.
  • Document production activities and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize urgent jobs and meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sign fabrication, screen printing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
