Job description

The Scharine Group - Darien Fabrication Division is looking to hire an experienced fabricator.

This position is located in Darien, WI - Monday thru Friday 6am-430pm, with some Saturdays.

Responsibilites include operating machines such as a press brake, band saw, iron worker, shear, roller, plasma cutter and other basic power tools. The majority of the welding done here in Darien is MIG, but experience in TIG is encouraged.

  • Must be able to read a tape measure, take direction, operate independently, and blueprint reading.
  • Ability to produce quality products consistently
  • Ability to operate the machines mentioned above (press brake, iron worker, etc.
  • Ability to operate forklifts
  • Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
  • Willingness to learn
  • Must be reliable with a good work ethic
  • Willing to work 50+ hours a week. Some Saturdays required
