Job description

We are seeking a Production Machine Operator to support daily fabrication and assembly work. This role operates non-CNC machines, follows work orders, and ensures parts meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate fabrication equipment including lathes, mills, saws, and tape cutters Set up workpieces using clamps, wrenches, and fixtures Manufacture parts based on work orders and blueprints Perform assembly tasks using hand tools and drills Complete documentation for each job Inspect parts during production Package finished parts and maintain accurate counts Cross train on additional machines and processes Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication Keep work area organized and follow safety rules Support team members and assist with training Qualifications Ability to work independently with low error rates Strong communication with supervisors on priorities Adaptability to changing production needs Good math skills Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions Experience with measuring tools Problem solving skills Willing to work overtime when needed Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Vocational training or hands-on experience preferred Manufacturing experience is a plus Physical Requirements Standing, walking, and frequent use of hands Lifting up to 40 lbs Ability to adjust visual focus Occasional reaching and sitting Work Environment Shop environment, not climate controlled Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and outdoor temperatures PPE may be required Possible contact with chemicals $20.60 per hr Shift Schedule: 1:30PM – 10:00PM – 2nd Shift
