What You'll Do
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will support the Machine Shop Department by setting up and operating CNC machinery while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards are met.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure machines are safe and ready for production.
  • Read and execute daily production schedules.
  • Measure, mark, and inspect materials and finished products.
  • Set up and operate CNC equipment.
  • Select, align, and secure fixtures, tooling, and materials.
  • Adjust machine settings including speed, feed rates, coolant flow, and cutting specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations and identify machining issues.
  • Verify finished parts meet specifications and quality requirements.
  • Complete production logs, inspections, and reporting using a computer.
  • Work with supervisors to resolve machining and production challenges.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
