Description

The Steel Network, Inc (TSN) is a leading national manufacturer of light steel framing building products. TSN is seeking to hire a Machine Operator to join our team. Position Overview: Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced steel fabrication equipment, including roll-forming, press-breaks, lasers, welding, and more. This is a full-time position on the Roll Forming team. The operator's primary responsibility is to set up and operate the roll forming machines to produce light framing members per specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the proper packaging and labeling of products.
  • Maintaining acceptable production levels of roll forming lines.
  • Maintaining run logs and completing member travelers.
  • Operating a forklift to move products around the facility as needed.
  • Stack and package finished product.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience setting-up and operating a roll forming machine or similar CNC equipment.
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude to be able to troubleshoot and correct issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Ability to properly use measuring equipment such as calipers, steel rules, and tape measure.
  • Forklift experience.


Experience & Education:

  • High School Diploma, or GED is required.

Work Schedule: First Shift, Monday-Friday, from 6 AM-2:30PM. With opportunity for overtime if needed.
