Job description

Seeking CNC Machine Operators on 2nd/3rd shift. This position comes with a $1,000 Hiring Bonus!

Our CNC Machine Operators run numerically controlled machining and turning centers and use machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This position works from part drawings and specifications. You'll identify tooling, machine malfunctions, and operating problems and report issues to the lead contact for corrections and adjustments. In addition, the CNC Operator makes offsets and tool changes to produce quality parts, working with tolerances that need to be exact to within +/- .05mm.

Compensation Details: The expected rate of pay for this position is between $24 - $27 Hourly, based on experience.
What You'll Do:

  • Use micrometers, electronic and/or air gauges, calipers, verniers, surface gauges, height, and depth indicators to check work for dimensional accuracy; willing to train.
  • Make minor adjustments to maintain tolerances and finish requirements.
  • Perform minor tool changes.
  • Load, inspect, assemble, and pack parts in accordance with visual operator manufacturing instruction, work instruction, OPPM, visual aid, quality alert, or other required documentation.
  • Fill out the required documentation, as well as understand and follow the frequency of inspections.
  • Be cross-trained on different machines as dictated by business needs.
  • Additional duties as directed by the supervisor.

What We Need from You:

  • 2+ years of experience as a CNC operator.
  • Working knowledge of Fanuc controls on machines such as the Mori Seki, Okumas, Harding, etc.
  • Ability to lift/handle heavy objects frequently.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours.
  • Self-motivated and willing to work as a team member to empower yourself and others to succeed.
  • Maintain a good attendance record, follow all company safety policies, and keep the work environment clean.
