Qualified Staffing is seeking CNC Machine Operators for a reputable manufacturing company in Marietta, GA. The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC machinery in accordance with documented management system procedures, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings and specifications, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all documented management system procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Operate CNC machines according to established specifications and production schedules.
- Start and monitor machine operations to ensure proper performance and product quality.
- Complete daily maintenance logs and add lubricants and fluids as required.
- Load raw materials, stock, and parts into machines as needed.
- Read blueprints, prints, job orders, work instructions, and inspection instructions to determine dimensions, tolerances, and production requirements.
- Inspect sample workpieces using preset gauges, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring equipment to verify conformance to specifications.
- Replace worn tools and perform routine tooling changes.
- Adjust machine controls and tool settings to maintain specified tolerances and quality standards.
