Weekend Machinists Needed!

Sign-On Bonus Available for this position!!

Have the added benefits of working 36 hours and be paid for 40 hours, plus receive a shift differential of $1.50 per hour!

Weekend Shift:  Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 6 am to 6:30 pm

The ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off-highway machines.  

As a member of the Machine Shop Team, the CNC Operator/Machinist will be responsible to produce parts for use in saleable product by successfully operating one or more machining centers, turning centers, or hand operation centers, all while maintaining a clean and safe workplace. 

What you can look forward to as the Weekedn CNC Operator/Machinist:

   Interpret blueprint and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
   Operate equipment per written instructions.
   Read and operate inspection equipment to ensure production of a quality product.
   Monitor quality per ISO work instructions.
   Perform adjustments and tool changes as required to maintain part quality.
   Pack parts properly to prevent damage.
   Perform necessary daily equipment inspection and maintenance.
   Complete daily cycle counting in accordance with established procedures.

Your Profile as the Weekend CNC Operator/Machinist:

   High school diploma or equivalent, required.
   Machinist Technical Degree/Certification; or 2-4 years of related experience and/or training.
   Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 35 pounds regularly.
   Ability to operate a computer and other electronic equipment
   Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
   Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions and correspondence, as well as effectively communicate with others within the organization.
   Experience with ERP Systems and Microsoft Suite, desired.

The expected base compensation for this role is $24.15 - $34.00 per hour.  Additional shift differential of $1.50 for working the weekend hours - plus, work 36 and get paid for 40!  Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
