What You'll Do
• Set up, adjust, and edit CNC programs for lathes, Swiss machines, and milling machines.
• Use shop packages including manufacturing orders, routings, and blueprints to perform setups.
• Install and secure tooling; set and adjust speeds and feed rates.
• Operate CNC machines and monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect first-run and in-process parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform and document in-process inspections and quality checks.
• Replace worn tools and ensure gauges and instruments are within calibration.
• Support multiple machine operations simultaneously as required.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
What You'll Need
• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining/setup experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.
• Strong math skills (including fractions and decimals).
• Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and teamwork.
