Job description

Multiple positions & Multiple shifts open for CNC Machinist! Mills & Lathes

1st, 2nd, 3rd, & weekend shifts.


Level 1 Machinist- under direct supervision, load and unload parts in operation of 3-5 axis CNC mill and lathe machine cells to produce complex machined aerospace parts. Level one machinists are responsible for in process inspection of machined product, which requires basic competencies in shop math, hand measuring tools and documentation. Level one machinists are responsible for some deburr operations as well as basic preventative machine maintenance, which includes coolant and lube levels and area cleanliness. Typically 0-2 years of experience.


Level 3 Machinist- level three machinists operate 3-5 axis CNC machines and conventional mills and lathes to produce complex aerospace parts demonstrating advanced cross training flexibility, including first part run and full machine recovery. Level three machinists are able to complete complex setups on 3-5 axis machines, apply advanced blue print and GD&T reading to complex production inspection processes. Level three machinists will also be able to edit programs and write simple programs to make tooling. Level three machinist competencies includes trouble shooting complex parts. Typically 4-6 years of experience.


CNC Mill Operator- 2 years experience, CNC 3 axis vertical mill, fanuc controls, understanding of GD&T, setting tool heights & work offsets, and read tape measure.
