CNC Manufacturing Engineer
Waukesha County, WI Direct Hire No Sponsorship or Relocation Assistance Available
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing precision machining manufacturer in Waukesha County to identify a CNC Manufacturing Engineer.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of machining processes from concept through production. The successful candidate will work closely with leadership, programming, machining, and quality teams to support new product introductions, improve existing processes, and drive manufacturing efficiency.
If you enjoy solving problems, proving out programs on the shop floor, designing fixtures, and seeing your work directly impact production, we'd like to speak with you.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC machining processes
  • Create, edit, and prove out CNC programs for production
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from launch through production
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions
  • Collaborate with machinists and production personnel to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges
  • Improve cycle times, quality, and process consistency
  • Interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation
  • Provide technical support to production and leadership teams
Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Engineering experience in a CNC machining environment
  • Experience writing and editing CNC programs
  • Experience proving out new programs and processes on the shop floor
  • Experience supporting new product launches and NPI activities
  • Proficiency with Mastercam
  • Experience with SolidWorks
  • Understanding of machining processes, tooling, fixturing, and workholding
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
