Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Lathe Programmer to join our team!  We would like someone with experience programming, setting up and operating CNC lathes.  You would need to have a knowledge of CAD/CAM and the ability to program at the machine controls.  Must also be adept at blueprint reading and the use of inspection equipment.  We would request previous experience working Haas CNC lathes.
Responsibilities 
  • Develop CNC programs for production runs
  • Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and choose cutting tools, machine speed and feed rates
  • Modify existing programs for different machines
  • Make manual program adjustments as necessary
  • Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
  • Communicate with others and direct operators in machining application
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working as CNC Lathe Machinist
  • Comfortable with using FeatureCam or MasterCam
  • The ability to read drawings and dimension parts
  • The ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
