CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce parts to exact specifications.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
  • Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and maintain tolerances.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve processes and product quality.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in machining or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
