Job Description

This role focuses on operating and monitoring CNC laser cutting machines in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You ensure products meet quality standards, keep equipment running smoothly through routine maintenance, and work closely with your team to achieve production goals. You use blueprints and technical drawings to produce accurate parts and support overall fabrication operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Set up and adjust CNC machines, including laser, punch press, and brake press equipment as needed for production runs.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring parts meet dimensional and visual standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting paths, tolerances, and fabrication requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC laser cutting machines and related equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, product defects, or process deviations to maintain consistent quality.
  • Handle materials safely, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished parts from machines.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily and weekly production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with machinery and in the manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining, fabrication, laser operation, punch press, or brake press.
  • Ability to operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines safely and efficiently.

Pay and Benefits
