We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


2nd shift: 4/5pm to finish



Responsibilities

  • Assures materials exiting burning machines meet drawing requirements and quality standards
  • Assures proper operation of equipment by monitoring quality of parts produced and conducting 1st Article procedures
  • Gathers materials required to fill work orders, sets up burning tables with materials
  • Operate and monitor laser cutting machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
  • Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure operational efficiency.


Experience

  • Must have experience in use of measuring equipment ie; tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc
  • Previous experience operating laser cutting machines is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with CNC machinery, welding techniques, and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ability to program CNC equipment for specific production tasks is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
  • Forklift certification is a nice-to-have but not required for this position.
