Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include changing raw stock and finished plates on our 4-axis CNC machine, performing routine maintenance, conducting quality checks on finished parts, and ensuring efficient operation of the machines to meet production goals. This position requires technical expertise, precision, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to production specifications and instructions.
  • Change plates on CNC machines as required, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality output and identify any malfunctions or irregularities.
  • Conduct routine machine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting key components per production specifications and instructions.
  • Replace worn tooling and fixturing per instructions.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to verify tolerances.
  • Report non-conformances and assist in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
  • Communicate operational issues, delays, and improvements to supervisors and team members.
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of machine tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Requirements:
  • Technical training or certification in CNC machining or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
