  1. REPORTS TO: Material Handler Supervisor (Warehouse)

  1. SUPERVISES: None

  1. OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Material Handler Associate will be trained to perform various operations and operate equipment in a warehouse and logistic process. Receives, identifies, stores, picks and moves goods and material and operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, palletizes and other equipment as required.

  1. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Perform various manual labor functions such as picking inventory, counting cargo, product and material and hand staging, and loading goods; uses manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack.
    2. Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within assigned area.
    3. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color, product code and related characteristics; tend to be more routine or typical.
    4. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and safe and effective work environment.
    5. Performs various warehouse maintenance task, including sweeping floors, cleaning docks staging, packing, racking and related storage areas, proper storing equipment, basic preventative maintenance and related task.
    6. Develops and maintains excellent customer service internal and external customers at all times, such as working collaboratively, providing timely communications and instruction and assisting with operations as necessary.
    7. Other duties as assigned by management.

  1. REQUIRED EDUCATION:
    1. High School diploma or GED required.

    1. Warehouse Management
    2. All Production workers

  1. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
    1. Reading, comprehending, and completing basic checklist, forms or other related documents.
    2. Following safety policies and procedures.
    3. Operating hand and power tools.
    4. Communication Proficiency.
    5. Organizational Skills.
    6. Technical Capacity.
