CNC Machinist


Are you looking to sharpen your skills in a precision-driven environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our client’s production team. Whether you’re an experienced operator or someone with a solid mechanical aptitude looking to grow, we provide the structure and training to help you succeed. In this role, you will work under the guidance of experienced Team Leaders to produce high-quality parts while mastering the art of CNC machining.


Position –CNC Machinist

Job Location –Weyauwega

Starting Date –ASAP

Employment Term –Direct Hire

Employment Type –Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift

Starting Pay –$18 to $30 per hour

Benefits –Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

Required Education –High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience –At least 2 years of experience




Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Operate one or more types of CNC production equipment (Lathes, Horizontal, and Vertical Machining Centers).
  • Quality Control: Perform basic gauging tasks using calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate WIP (Work in Progress) sheets and production records.
  • Maintenance & Safety: Perform general preventative maintenance and keep your workspace clean and safe.
  • Continuous Learning: Work closely with trainers to identify tool wear, change tools, and master print reading (orthographic and isometric views).

Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior CNC machining experience is preferred, along with familiarity with gauges and tooling.
  • Math Skills: Ability to perform basic shop math accurately.
  • Technical Aptitude: A basic understanding of machining functions and the desire to learn complex tolerances.
  • Reliability: You work well under supervision and take pride in the accuracy of your work.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to perform incidental work of various levels as needed to support the team.

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997.
