Job description

Meador an Openwork Company is currently hiring an experienced Vertical CNC Machinist who can handle full setups and make on-the-floor program edits. If you’re a self-sufficient machinist who takes pride in precision and efficiency, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
  • Perform full setups and operate vertical CNC mills.
  • Edit programs at the machine (G-code adjustments).
  • Read blueprints and maintain tight tolerances.
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize machining processes.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 3+ years of vertical CNC machining experience.
  • Strong setup and editing skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
  • Programming experience is a big plus, but not required.

Additional Information:
Location: South Houston, TX 77051.
Pay Rate: $32-$37 p/h.
Schedule:
  • Train on day shift (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) for 1-2 weeks.
  • Move to night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) after training (manager approval required).
