CNC Mill & Lathe Operators – HAAS XP / Mazak / Fanuc

Location: North Houston, TX (Near IAH Airport)


Shift: 1st Shift Position


Overtime: Heavy Overtime Available (Including Weekends)


Employment Type: Full-Time

Tier One Personnel is hiring experienced CNC Mill Operators and CNC Lathe Operators for a busy manufacturing facility in North Houston near IAH. We are seeking skilled machinists who can perform setups, edit programs, and run parts independently.

This is a long-term opportunity with steady hours and significant overtime, including weekends.

CNC Mill Operator (HAAS XP)


Required Experience:

  • HAAS Mills (HAAS XP preferred)
  • Setup and program editing
  • Strong G-Code & M-Code knowledge
  • Machining API Threads
  • ACME & Buttress Threads
  • Machining 8” and 10” round materials
  • Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances

CNC Lathe Operator (Mazak / Fanuc)


Required Experience:

  • Mazak Lathes with Mazatrol Controls
  • Fanuc Controls
  • Strong G-Code & M-Code programming knowledge
  • Ability to set up and edit programs independently
  • Machining API Threads
  • Cutting ACME and Buttress Threads
  • Experience working with large-diameter materials (8” and 10” rounds)

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills or lathes
  • Edit and adjust programs as needed
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality standards
  • Maintain safe and productive work environment
  • Work extended hours and weekends as required


Qualifications

  • 3+ years CNC machining experience preferred
  • Strong CNC setup and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with HAAS, Mazak, Mazatrol, and/or Fanuc controls
  • Ability to work 1st shift (5:00 AM until finish)
  • Must have weekend availability
  • Willingness to work significant overtime
