Job description

The CNC Programmer Machinist will be responsible for programming and operating milling machines, lathes, and multi-axis CNC machines primarily working with metal materials like steel and aluminum. This role requires daily close collaboration with engineering and production teams to ensure precision and efficiency on the day shift. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC programming and machining, with a strong ability to interpret blueprints and select appropriate tools for complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and multi-axis equipment
  • Set up CNC machines and select appropriate tooling for each job
  • Interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machining specifications
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams daily
  • Monitor machine operation to maintain quality and precision on metal parts

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining
