Large CNC Machinist

The Large CNC Machinist will:
  • Must be able to demonstrate basic machinist aptitude including the ability to: read blueprints
  • Accurately use measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, calipers, etc.)
  • Make minor adjustments to tooling and CNC code
  • Make frequent and complicated set-ups
  • Run both CNC and manual lathes
  • Run large horizontal boring mills and planer mills, both CNC and manual

Strong candidates for this position will meet the following expectations:
  • 5 years of machining experience with an emphasis on CNC machining
  • Experience with 5S or workplace organization is a plus
  • Demonstrates expertise in maintaining precise accuracy and meeting tight tolerances on large, complex components
  • Work to close tolerances
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
