CNC Machinist

Position Summary:

Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time CNC Machinist to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.

You will assist in the production of heavy industrial cranes using manual machining equipment while ensuring that quality comes standard with every order.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to monitor and operate CNC Lathe and/or Horizontal Boring Mill and CNC
    Planer Mill
  • Proficient in Conversational CNC Code Programming
  • Knowledge of Siemens 840D and Centroid M400 Controls –Okuma
  • Inspect and measure components to ensure correct tolerances are met
  • Ability to work within tight tolerances
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Must be able to ensure a safe work environment
  • Will be trained on day shift, then position will turn to afternoon shift

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience working with CNC horizontal mills, planer mills, and lathes
  • Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and drawings
  • Ability to use metrological instruments such as micrometers
  • Basic organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willing and able to work 2nd shift (3:15 PM - 1:45 AM)
