ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a motivated Burn Table Operaror. The Burn Table Operator will set up and operate CNC oxy/plasma machine, use overhead crane to load/unload steel plates, verify finished product meets specifications, and maintain a clean and safe work area.

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated CNC oxy/plasma machine operator. The operator will set up, maintain and operate the Kinetic K2500 and K5000XMC machines using overhead cranes to load/unload steel plates, calibrated measuring devices to verify finished product specifications, and 5S practices to maintain a clean and safe work area.


  • Ability to interpret CAD drawings, symbols and notes.
  • Ability to select correct machine settings for optimal cutting operations.
  • Ability to measure materials to assure conformance with design specifications.
  • Ability to select correct material type, stock size and dimensions.
  • Ability to transfer appropriate data onto materials.
  • Ability to keep a clean, organized, and sage work area.
  • Ability to keep and accurate record of daily operations and material usage

  • Experienced operating CNC plasma, Kinetic and oxy machines
  • Ability to interpret CAD drawings, symbols and notes.
  • Read tape measure, caliper and micrometer to within +/- .005
  • Experienced with overhead crane
  • Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time.
