Job description

Mancan Staffing is helping out a manufacturing company in Kent who is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe and Mill Programer to join the team!
Hours are 8a-5p Monday-Friday with a 1 hour lunch break.
Starting at $20-$30 based on experience.
Duties:
Program CNC lathe and CNC milling machines to manufacture precision parts according to specifications.
Perform CNC programming and CAM programming for various machining operations.
Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to understand project requirements.
Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC machines (lathe and milling).
Familiarity with SolidWorks and CAD software machining is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
