Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Avir at Webster in Webster, TX. As a CNA at Avir at Webster, you will provide non-professional direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, and assist in maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for our residents. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive compensation package and a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and positioning

  • Provide certified nursing assistant care and support, including reading and following daily care plans, performing assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures, and documenting care provision on resident records

  • Ensure a safe, sanitary, and infection-free environment by understanding and following safety, sanitation, and infection control policies and procedures

  • Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and government regulators by presenting a professional appearance and attitude

  • Participate in training, educational activities, and staff meetings to stay up-to-date on new policies and procedures

  • Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, as well as other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be a Certified Nursing Aide in good standing with the State or must be able to complete state required training and a competency evaluation program within four (4) months of employment

  • Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job

  • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families, and to work cooperatively with other associates

  • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance and performing the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
