Job description

The Software QA Engineer supports the planning, coordination, automation, execution, and reporting of testing activities for proprietary software applications developed by our Engineering teams. This role performs functional, regression, integration, and post-release validation while leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve test design, coverage, and test execution. • Quickly respond to and test fixed defects; proactively identify problems/edge cases rooted in business reality
  • Identify, document, and communicate defects; validate not only technical accuracy but overall business process integrity
  • Collaborate with the development team and fellow QA members to analyze functionality and resolve issues

  • Proficiency in navigating intricate healthcare datasets and regulatory environments (such as HIPAA or CMS guidelines) with an understanding that a data anomaly is not simply a bug, but it is a potential compliance risk or a breakdown in patient/client care
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience in application testing, including creating test plans, writing and executing test cases, and managing defects
