Maintenance Supervisor - Food & Beverage ManufacturingAbout the Opportunity

A growing food and beverage manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at its production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of manufacturing equipment and facility systems while driving preventative maintenance initiatives and minimizing production downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance.

  • Oversee maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related equipment issues.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture.

  • Coordinate facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and repairs.

  • Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.

  • Manage maintenance priorities to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a food & beverage manufacturing environment (required).

  • Proven experience supervising maintenance teams of 10 or more direct reports.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and manufacturing equipment.

  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and interpreting electrical schematics.

  • Hands-on experience with high-speed production equipment such as fillers, cappers, seamers, conveyors, labelers, pasteurizers, bottling, or canning systems.

  • Proficiency with CMMS software for maintenance planning and work order management.

  • Strong understanding of industrial safety regulations and preventive maintenance best practices.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
