Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, Data Centers
What this job involves -
Maintenance Planner/Scheduler role is in support of the JLL Asset Management journey towards a World Class Maintenance organization. This industry standard role provides more efficient means of managing facilities maintenance and associated maintenance labor, freeing hours for additional business priorities. Planning & scheduling for all maintenance and operations encompassed in the CMMS tool are to be conducted using current CMMS system application and standardized business processes.
Your day-to-day tasks will include -
  • Balances maintenance workload distribution with available labor resources to optimize inventory management
  • Ensures compliance with all client CMMS standards and specifications to maintain database integrity and standardization
  • Oversees MRO parts ordering process for assigned teams and implements PM Auto ordering where feasible
  • Generates all asset-related purchase requisitions
  • Maintains comprehensive tracking of asset information, spare parts, documentation, and booked labor
  • Collaborates with operations teams to gather data and refine maintenance programs
  • Conducts periodic data audits to verify maintenance records meet CMMS and business process requirements
  • Coordinates with facilities technicians and management on work execution, schedule modifications, and staffing availability
  • Drives continuous improvement in work planning and scheduling by analyzing maintenance metrics, work order flow patterns, and project requirements
  • Documents and submits all database record modifications through the client's CMMS change request system

Desired experience and technical skills -
Requirements:
  • Five (5) years of experience in facilities, requiring strict planning and scheduling protocols for operations and maintenance.

  • Experience in planning and scheduling the work of hourly employees using CMMS systems

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Outlook); working knowledge of Sharepoint

  • Knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment

  • Client service-oriented attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Advanced computer skills

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or management

  • Experience with SQL or Oracle

  • Experience with report writing or generating software
