Job description

Title: Adjunct instructors for Technical Writing courses (fall 2026)
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.
Responsibilities:
Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach Technical Writing courses. The instructor will deliver curriculum and use a learning management system. Courses included both day and evening hours and will be taught in person at our Auburn campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in related field
  • Experience teaching at the college level
  • Experience with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems
  • Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
