What You'll Do
  • Complete delivery paperwork and communicate load or timing issues with dispatch, sales, and customers
  • Conduct daily pre-trip,inter-trip, andpost trip inspections of truck and cargo
  • Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region
  • Follow all safety rules and always wear required PPE
  • Inventory and inspect products to confirm quantity and condition
  • Load, secure, and deliver cargo safely and on time
  • Maintain vehicle service and repair logs in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Operate vehicles using Electronic Logging Devices(ELD)and safety dashcams (training provided)
  • Perform loading tasks including chaining, strapping, tarping, trailer hooking/unhooking, use ofsideboardkitsand safely ascending/descending of truck and/or trailer
  • Perform additional duties to ensure safe, compliant transportation per federal and state safety regulations
  • Work flexible hoursand be available based on business needs
What You'll Need
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to speak and understand English language in verbal communication
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while giving and receiving feedback
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • No DUI/DWI within the past five years
  • At least 1 year of verified tractor-trailer experience (3 years flatbed OTR preferred)
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements
  • Ability to pass DOT physicals and drug testing
  • No more than one moving violation in the past three years
  • Ability to learn new tasks and adapt to changing requirements
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing stairs/ladders, works with chains/strap, performs inspections

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
