Job description

Position Summary:
The House & Grounds Attendant supports the overall presentation, cleanliness, and functionality of the clubhouse and surrounding grounds. This role plays a key part in ensuring the club environment is consistently well-maintained, organized, and ready to deliver a high-quality member experience. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take ownership of both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Core Responsibilities:
Clubhouse & Facility Support
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clubhouse spaces, including locker rooms, restrooms, dining areas, and common areas
• Assist with room setups and breakdowns for member events, meetings, and club functions
• Support daily operational needs across departments, including Golf Operations and Food & Beverage
• Monitor facility conditions and report any maintenance or safety concerns

Grounds & Exterior Maintenance
• Assist with upkeep of club grounds, including walkways, patios, entrances, and parking areas
• Perform routine tasks such as trash removal, light landscaping support, and general exterior cleanup
• Ensure all outdoor areas are presentable and aligned with club standards at all times

Operational Support
• Respond to day-to-day requests from management and department leaders
• Assist with small projects, deliveries, and general club operations as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and storage areas in an organized and safe manner

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in facilities, maintenance, landscaping, or hospitality preferred, but not required
• Strong work ethic and ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
