Front Desk Monitor

Kensington Ridge is a luxurious active adult community by Del Webb in Milford Michigan designed for residents 55 and better. Situated in front of the 43-acre no wake lake, The Lake House is a 16,800 square-foot Clubhouse and the center of activity at Kensington Ridge. From the indoor heated pool and fitness center to the pickleball courts, there's several options for exercise and fun. The Front Desk Monitor creates a welcoming environment by greeting residents and guests, answering phones, assisting with inquiries, monitoring facility activity, and ensuring community rules are followed. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills who can maintain a safe atmosphere.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct receptionist support to all on-site property needs by providing the highest quality customer service to inbound callers, visitors and vendors.
  • Partners with Administrative Support team and the On-site Community Manager to effectively manage the front reception area and inbound calls as well as assist with various administrative projects.
  • Filters inbound calls to determine appropriate direction.
  • Greets all visitors/homeowners and determines their immediate needs.
  • Monitors pickups/deliveries.
  • Assisting with events.
  • Testing pool water as needed.
  • Setup for events including moving various tables, chairs and stage assembly.
  • Work schedule may change to meet property requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to offer support to administrative support staff with ever-changing needs.
  • Ability to elicit information from callers and visitors in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organization and tracking skills.
  • Ability to function efficiently in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to proficiently utilize computer programs and company database systems, including MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), internet and e-mail systems.
  • Ability to interact and work positively and effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Advanced communication skills (both verbally and written), and the ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within the department as well as with other departments.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Sitting at workstation utilizing a computer in an office setting.
  • Walking throughout property/facilities as needed.
  • Setting up, taking down and stacking tables and chairs, bending/kneeling/stretching in regard to pool water testing.

Qualifications

Education: High School or better.

Experience: 2 years: Paid, professional experience working in a Receptionist, Administrative Support, and/or Customer Service role within an office environment.
