Job description

The Concert Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at concert venues. This role involves monitoring crowd behavior, enforcing venue policies, and responding to emergencies to ensure the safety and enjoyment of attendees, performers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Crowd Management:
  • Monitor and manage crowds to prevent overcrowding and ensure orderly behavior
  • Control access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Monitoring the crowd for signs of intoxication or aggressive behavior and intervening if necessary.
  • Monitoring the Stage
  • Security guards must keep a close eye on the stage.
  • Ensuring that all equipment is secure and that there are no unauthorized people attempting to enter the stage area.
  • Security guards must also be prepared to intervene if any unauthorized person attempts to gain access to the stage.
  • Liaising with Police and Emergency Services
  • Must be able to liaise with police and emergency service in the event of an emergency.
  • Safety and Security:
  • Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity or behavior
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, medical emergencies, and other disturbances
  • Enforcement of Policies:
  • Manage and resolve conflicts or disruptions among attendees.
  • Escort disruptive individuals from the venue as needed.
  • Emergency Response:
  • Assist in emergency evacuations and provide clear instructions to attendees.
  • Coordinate with emergency services, including police, fire, and medical personnel.
  • Communication:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with other security personnel and event staff.
  • Use radios and other communication devices to report incidents and coordinate responses.
  • Provide excellent customer service to attendees, addressing their questions and concerns courteously.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Complete incident reports and log details of any security breaches, accidents, or injuries.
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the appropriate authorities.
Key Competencies:
  • Professionalism: Always conduct oneself in a professional manner, representing the venue and PRO EM positively.
  • Alertness: Remain vigilant and aware of surroundings to quickly identify potential threats or issues.

Job Requirements
  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.A
  • Must be able to communicate in english.
  • Must have a current AZ Unarmed Guard Card.
  • Must have barricade concert security, club security, or bar security experience.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screening.
  • Must have NO FELONIES and no Misdemeanors.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Pay Rate: $20 - $23 for concert security guards
