Job description


Security Officer needed to adhere to security operating procedures (SOP) and assist with maintaining a safe and secure environment for the Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club. Security Officer must work independently, as part of a team and possess extraordinary customer relations as a Gate House Officer. The desired candidate should possess previous experience, have a satisfactory driving record and be capable of conducting vehicle patrols/foot patrols if necessary.
Responsibilities include:
  • Communicating with residents, members, staff, security personnel and management
  • Provide courteous, respectful and pleasant interactions
  • Foot patrols
  • Prepare reports on daily shift activity
  • Accurately relay pertinent information to Supervisor, Director of Security, and the General Manager
  • Handle emergency response in accordance with established procedures
  • Document and report incidents and maintenance matters

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Satisfactory driving record (required to operate company-owned vehicle)
  • Professional Demeanor and Appearance • High Level of Integrity
  • Strong Work Ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • CCTV and Access control experience
  • Ability to work independently and with other security team members
  • Prior experience required - (security, military or law enforcement)

Available Shifts:
  • Part-time (approximately 32 hours)
  • $15.00 hr
  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10pm-6am
  • Flexibility to cover additional shifts and assist with call-out or Co-worker vacation
