Job description

The Security Guard serves as the first point of contact for members, guests, teammates, vendors, and visitors entering the Club. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and security of Club property by monitoring access, enforcing Club policies, and maintaining a secure environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome members, guests, teammates, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Verify authorization for all individuals entering Club property.
  • Direct members and guests to designated parking areas, event locations, and other Club facilities.
  • Direct guests to the bag drop area for appropriate service.
  • Guide vendors and delivery personnel to the appropriate receiving or service areas.
  • Ensure all individuals entering the Clubhouse comply with the Club's dress code and appearance standards.
  • Monitor security camera systems and conduct routine visual and physical patrols of Club property.
  • Identify, document, and promptly report unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, accidents, or security concerns.
  • Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and employees.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
  • Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to remain alert and respond appropriately to security-related situations.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and patrol Club property for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to work varying shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays), availability to work overnight (10pm - 6am) is desirable.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively by telephone and radio.
  • May be required to use computer to log security incidents.
