Club Pilates Lansing coming Q4 2026! We are in search of a high-energy, results-driven General Manager to take charge of the complete spectrum of studio operations at Club Pilates Lansing. This role encompasses everything from driving sales and local marketing to supervising instructors and managing daily operations, with direct reporting to the regional manager.

While experience in boutique fitness is highly valued, we are also looking for leadership talent from premium hospitality, luxury retail, and sales-driven wellness environments (such as high-end medical spas, luxury wellness clubs, or premium guest services). Requirements

  • Experience: 2+ years of management and sales experience in boutique fitness, premium hospitality, luxury retail, or sales-driven wellness environments (e.g., medical spas, high-end clinics).  Strong leadership skills to motivate and coordinate a team
  • Sales Excellence: Confident in generating personal sales, hitting membership targets, and training Sales Representatives to close deals.  Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Multi-Stream Revenue Management: Ability to manage and drive 4 distinct revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
  • Community & Brand Engagement: Familiarity with local community engagement tactics to enhance regional brand awareness.  Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public.
  • Social Media Savvy: Proven experience creating, scheduling, and managing engaging content on Facebook and Instagram to increase followers and local engagement while maintaining brand voice.
  • Communication & Presence: Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal, writing, and grammar skills. Ability to project a professional, punctual, reliable, and neat appearance. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
  •  Tech Literacy: Proficiency with computers, CRM systems/studio software (experience with ClubReady is a plus), and Bluetooth audio equipment.

Duties

  • Sales & Lead Generation: Implement strategic sales processes (including grassroots marketing and networking) to schedule prospects into Demo classes, close membership sales, and collect outstanding dues.
  • Marketing & Partnerships: Collaborate with the corporate marketing team on promotional campaigns. Coordinate with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations to establish partnerships.  Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.
  • Social Media Management: Create, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content (posts, stories, videos) across all platforms. Monitor accounts and respond to messages and reviews in a professional, timely manner.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, onboard, train, and supervise studio staff, including sales representatives and Pilates instructors. Manage staff scheduling.  Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
  • Operations: Oversee the setup and preparation, ensure cleanliness, and organization of the studio space. Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures.  Proficiency in ClubReady, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.  Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
  • Inventory & Vendor Relations: Directly coordinate with vendors to ensure studio retail and products are beautifully displayed and stocked with accurate inventory counts.
