Position Summary
The role of the Executive Club Lounge Host is to create 100% Guest Satisfaction by serving lounge customers in a prompt and efficient manner.
The Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown, located at a walking distance to downtown attractions and events, is looking for an energetic individual to our Food & Beverage team as an Executive Club Lounge Host.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities of Executive Club Lounge Host:
  • Greets executive guests in the private Executive Lounge.
  • Respond to guest enquiries and advised them of the amenities the hotel offered.
  • Provides and contributes to the first impressions of our Guests, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards.

Oversees the operation of Executive Lounge
  • Coordinates and replenish all Guest supplies and amenities offered to the required standards in accordance with Choice Hotels.
  • Maintains clean, orderly, and stocked all work areas.
  • Process accurately check-ins and check-out.
  • Stay current with all hotel services as well as VIP requests and special events.
  • Demonstrate acknowledge of external locations, attractions, and landmarks in the vicinity of Salt Lake Downtown area.
  • Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest service
  • Comply with Hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
  • Execute tasks as instructed by the Executive Lounge Supervisor or Manager
  • Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner.
  • Communicates with other departments regarding supplies, special events, staffing, and other areas as they pertain to the Executive Lounge.
  • Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service.
  • Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution, and follows through when resolving guest problems.
  • Provides Yes, I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.
  • Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
  • Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum one - two years food and beverage experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork.
  • Able to resolve conflicts guests, supervisor, and employee.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws and regulations
  • Guest-friendly personality
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suit
  • Long hours are sometimes required, ability to work flexible schedule.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and push or pull room service carts up to 75 pounds.
  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment
