Mountain View Golf Club is dedicated to delivering exceptional member experiences through outstanding culinary offerings. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team, oversee all kitchen operations, and ensure the highest standards of quality, service, and presentation.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all aspects of the culinary operation, including menu development, food preparation, and presentation

- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and development of all Culinary staff, including, Sous Chefs, Cooks, Dishwasher.

- Oversee member events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional dining experiences

- Serve as a visible and engaging presence during service hours and events.

- Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize inventory to meet financial targets

- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations

- Collaborate with club management to plan special events and seasonal menus

-Collaborate with the General Manager and Club Manager on menu planning, food presentation, seasonal updates, and member dining feedback.

- Monitor and improve kitchen workflows, ensuring efficiency and quality

- Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the club’s offerings

- Participate in leadership meetings and provide regular updates to the General Manager and Board as needed.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

- Progressive culinary experience of at least 10 years, with a background as a Sous Chef or 3 years in an Executive Chef role.

- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and develop future leaders.

- Proven experience managing budgets, inventory, and controlling costs

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Hands-on work ethic with a passion for culinary excellence

- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation regulations

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, member-focused environment

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
