Job description


The banquet cook at New Albany Country Club assist the Banquet Chef in preparing high-quality food for banquet events and functions. This is a part-time hourly position. The ideal candidate will have experience in banquet cooking and possess a strong passion for cooking and creating delicious meals.
Compensation:

The Banquet Cook position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18 to $21 per hour, paid biweekly.ย 
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Prepare and cook food items according to approved banquet recipes and standards
โ€ข Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for the banquet event
โ€ข Maintain proper sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety practices in the kitchen
โ€ข Communicate effectively with banquet event staff to ensure timely service and consistent quality of food
โ€ข Follow all banquet event orders and ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
โ€ข Monitor food levels and replenish as needed to minimize waste
โ€ข Follow all country club policies and procedures, including those for safety and sanitation
โ€ข Assist with inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients
Requirements:
โ€ข High school diploma or equivalent
โ€ข Minimum of 2 years experience in banquet cooking
โ€ข Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
โ€ข Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
โ€ข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
