Position Details:

Job Summary:
Unit/Skill: Clinical Laboratory Technologist
The Clinical Laboratory Technologist will primarily work within the core laboratory, focusing on hematology, urinalysis, and chemistry.
This role is primarily bench work with no routine phlebotomy requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, prior experience in high-volume laboratory environments, and the ability to work independently during evening shift operations.
Primary Areas of Responsibility
The CLT will primarily support:
• Chemistry
• Hematology
• Urinalysis
• Coagulation
Limited exposure to rapid molecular testing may also be included.
Required Certifications or Licenses:
Minimum of 4 years of Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience preferred
Strong experience in hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis
Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required
Preferred Experience:
• Microbiology experience preferred
• Experience in high-volume laboratory environments strongly preferred
Blood Bank Experience:
• Blood Bank experience is not required for this position
Phlebotomy:
• Phlebotomy skills are not required
