Job Description
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 6+ months
Rate: Open
This position is to install, upgrade, and convert the current Cloverleaf product from 5.4 to the newest Cloverleaf product 6.1; and apply any and all patches plus configurations to ensure connectivity between sites, verify connections, contact all connection points in an effort to schedule all migrations, and migrate all connections off of the old to the newest version. This process involves the technical expertise to perform the job, the ability to communicate and coordinate efforts between multiple sites, troubleshoot any connection or coding problems, and to report weekly on the progress of the effort. Any and all delays or obstacles will need to be communicated to management at first convenience and schedule deviations need to be avoided. This position will need to understand Solaris operating system commands, networking requirements for Cloverleaf, and site-to-site security concepts. Also, the nature of this product deals with sensitive health information, therefore it is imperative that the person be aware of all pertinent health related requirements such as HIPAA.
Skills Needed:
Experience supporting Cloverleaf on a UNIX/Solaris system Required 5 Years
Experience upgrading Cloverleaf from a previous version to version 6 Required 5 Years
Experience migrating all previous connections to the newest version Required 5 Years
Experience troubleshooting schedule deviations for continued forward movement. Required 5 Years
Understanding of project management principles to manage upgrade/migration process to ensure project deadlines are met Required 5 Years
Experience creating Gantt charts clearly stating the conclusion date for the last connection move, while building in time for contingencies Required
Strong oral/written communication skills, with good organization skills, including scheduling abilities Required
The successful candidate will need to be able to communicate with all levels of management Required
Fluency with middleware products Highly desired
