Experienced Service Technician | Bill Clough Ford

Pay Range: $20-$50 depending on experience and certifications

Bill Clough Ford is seeking an experienced Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing service team. We are looking for a motivated automotive professional with strong diagnostic and repair skills who is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and drivability concerns
  • Utilize Ford diagnostic equipment and special service tools to identify vehicle issues accurately
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend additional repairs when necessary
  • Communicate findings and repair recommendations with Service Advisors
  • Complete warranty repairs in accordance with Ford Motor Company guidelines
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and technician notes
  • Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
  • Ford Certified Technician required
  • ASE Certifications preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive service technician experience
  • Previous Ford dealership experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills
  • Experience with drivability diagnostics and advanced troubleshooting
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and service software
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to continue learning
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
