Work Model: Hybrid (3-4 Weeks Onsite for Discovery || After Discover: Suppose 25% Onsight)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud Technical Lead to drive enterprise Salesforce architecture, solution design, and delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, Consumer Goods Cloud implementations, retail execution processes, and enterprise integrations. This role will partner with business leaders, technical teams, and clients to define scalable solutions, lead architecture decisions, and support successful Salesforce transformations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud architecture initiatives, including solution design, technical strategy, and enterprise architecture governance.
  • Drive discovery workshops, requirement discussions, and architecture alignment sessions with business stakeholders and client teams.
  • Define Salesforce technical solutions using platform best practices, including Apex, APIs, data architecture, security models, integrations, and deployment strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, guiding development teams and ensuring scalable, maintainable implementations.
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Support presales activities by contributing technical expertise, solution approaches, estimations, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile delivery methodologies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Influence senior stakeholders by providing recommendations around Salesforce capabilities, architecture decisions, and business transformation opportunities.
Required Experience & Technical Skills:
  • 10+ years of Salesforce architecture and implementation experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud, particularly Retail Execution capabilities.
  • Proven experience leading at least one complete Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud implementation from discovery through deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of Consumer Goods Cloud functionality, including:
    • Visit Planning and Optimization
    • Retail Visit Execution
    • In-Store Tasks Management
    • Surveys and Assessments
    • Retail Store Data Model and Field Operations processes
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex development concepts, APIs, integrations, data modeling, and release management.
  • Experience designing Salesforce enterprise data models, security/sharing strategies, territory structures, and route hierarchies.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce mobile solutions, offline capabilities, synchronization patterns, and field-user performance optimization.
  • Experience architecting integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Order Management systems, and Salesforce Data Cloud ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and experience producing architecture artifacts and technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect certification preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect certification preferred or actively pursuing certification path.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce professional services engagements and client-facing consulting environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with executives, business teams, architects, and delivery teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
