Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Cloud Systems Engineers to join our team!

In this role you will design and deploy AWS based cloud infrastructure globally.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and integration of systems under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve system performance and reliability.

  • Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure system specifications are met.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

  • Conduct regular system audits and generate reports to ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

  • Ensure systems are designed and maintained following best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to current systems.

What Required Skills You'll Bring All Levels:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; 4 years of additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • 7-14 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies.

  • Experience with system modeling, simulation, and analysis tools.

  • Experience with AWS and Terraform for cloud solutions.

  • Experience with Java.

  • Experience integrating external hardware data into internal workflows using MongoDB.

  • Experience integrating external database data into internal workflows using MongoDB.

  • 30-40% international travel required.

  • Must possess an active passport or be able to obtain one immediately upon hire.
