Job description

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability, and supporting business-critical applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and cloud-related issues.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance stability and reliability.
  • Maintain servers, applications, and system configurations.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.
  • Support hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Document support activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems administration, technical support, cloud operations, or a similar IT role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows systems, networking, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL Server, and virtualization.
