About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Administrator to manage and support Trifecta and client on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure. This role is responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. This is a hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure and System Administration
  • Administer Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
  • Manage multi-site virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V / ProxMox)
  • Maintain file servers, print services, and core routing services
  • Provide technical administration of enterprise switches (Aruba, Fortinet, Unifi, Dell)
  • Provide technical support and maintenance of campus fiber (single and multi-mode), Cat6, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, 802.11, VoIP, and PoE, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of SAN technologies (Dell, Synology, etc.)
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity
  • Perform patch management and system upgrades
  • Manage backups and disaster recovery processes
  • Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery
  • Knowledge of network automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Jira or Freshdesk ticketing systems, and IT documentation platforms

Cloud Administration
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Manage hybrid Microsoft environments (Azure AD, Entra ID, Intune, VMs, storage)
  • Support hybrid hosting environments and cloud connectivity (site-to-site VPN, SD-WAN, direct connections)
  • Configure and monitor cloud security and compliance controls
  • Experience with Intune or similar MDM management platforms for Apple and Windows devices

Security and Compliance
  • Implement CrowdStrike and ESET endpoint protection and security best practices
  • Maintain DUO and Microsoft MFA, conditional access policies, and role-based access control
  • Conduct regular CrowdStrike and Nessus vulnerability remediation
  • Ensure systems meet internal and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls and security technologies
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices

User and Operational Support
  • Provide Tier 2/3 technical support
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and cloud-related issues
  • Document systems, processes, and procedures
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications
  • Primary residence within 2 hours of Allentown, PA
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 7+ years of Network or Systems Administration experience
  • 7+ years of Microsoft 365 and/or Azure administration
  • Advanced networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent
  • Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, MS-102, etc.)
  • Experience in a Managed Services (MSP) environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
