Sphere of Impact:
  • Develop frontend and backend features for Akash Console - the primary deployment console used by customers and users of Akash.Networkย 
  • Build and maintain public APIs and SDKs for partners at https://console-api.akash.network/v1/swagger, https://github.com/akash-network/akash-api,ย  https://github.com/akash-network/akashjs and more
  • Work on automated tests and build (CI/ CD) automation
  • Interface with customers looking to integrate with Akash
  • Participate in technical discussions on public community forums like Discord, Github and other placesย 
  • Identify areas of improvement in terms of issues/bugs, as well as process improvements
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with Javascript, Typescript & React & Next.js
  • 5+ years of experience with postgres or similar SQL databases. Need to be an expert level SQL query developer
  • Experience with common cloud services, databases
  • Experience setting up and working with CI/CD tooling such as Github actions and Docker/ Containers/ Microservices
  • Experience working with Open Source tooling and building or contributing to open source software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for automation and coding best practices
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative when necessary and have a sense of ownership
Nice to Have:
  • Experience building developer toolsย 
  • Experience working for a cloud service provider
  • Experience or familiarity with blockchains and crypto
  • Huge bonus if you are familiar with Akash or have used it
