Warehouse Associate

Madhappy is a Los Angeles-based clothing brand made for a community of optimists, born in 2017. Madhappy uses apparel, events, and experimental retail spaces โ€“ including its permanent flagship in West Hollywood โ€“ to explore a personal expression as a means to an improved state of mind. Its own seasonal stores โ€“ with past and present locations including New York City (Soho), Aspen, Miami, East Hampton, and Tokyo โ€“ are each designed to reflect their site, while still sharing the brand's DNA. The brand currently produces a selection of ever-evolving, evergreen classic styles, seasonally available collections and collaborations. Madhappy supports research and awareness in mental health through The Madhappy Foundation (a 501c(3) non-profit) and writes Local Optimist, a print magazine. Each to celebrate us as works-in-progress, and the personal and collective expression that is a part of that.

About the Job

We are looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Associate for Madhappy.

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, receiving, shipping, and returns processing. This role will be working within our Operations team and will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

You must be based in or willing to move to Los Angeles to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Support DTC ecommerce fulfillment and retail store transfer orders
  • Assist with inbound receiving, putaway, and inventory replenishment
  • Verify transfer orders and bulk shipments for accuracy
  • Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Assist with seasonal volume increases, launches, and sale events
  • Follow warehouse SOPs, safety procedures, and quality control standards
  • Pick, pack, and ship e-commerce, wholesale, retail, and internal orders accurately and efficiently
  • Process customer returns, inspect merchandise, and restock inventory when appropriate
  • Organize, label, and maintain inventory within warehouse locations
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution
  • Support transfers between warehouse locations, retail stores, and events
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
About You
  • 1+ years of warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or operations experience preferred
  • Experience in ecommerce fulfillment, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred
  • Familiarity with Shopify, ShipHero, ShipStation, or similar systems preferred
  • Experience in apparel, retail, or consumer goods environments is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours during peak seasons and major launches
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Motivated to learn and continuously improve processes

Benefits package available upon hire
